I once asked my mother where my name came from.
“A tv commercial, some beer or something,” she said with a silly smile.
“You named me after a beer? You don’t even drink!”
“Yeah,” she replied, “I just thought it sounded good.”
“How would you know? You’re deaf!”

As a hearing child of Deaf parents I grew up immersed in Deaf culture, learning to express myself in a very visual way. With American Sign Language, every little expression, modification, or inflection makes a difference in what you are saying. As a designer, I take this to heart, making sure every aspect of my work serves a purpose or conveys the story I want told.
I’ve honed my skills while working in sales, marketing, advertising, and as a freelance designer over the last 15+ years, creating ad campaigns, logos, social media posts, and more for various clients all across the country.
